HAPPY HALLOWEEN
As we all prepare for a gnu & different halloween season we wanted to share some fun, safe and alternative spooky options.  Â
Â
AT HOME FUN
* Themed Monster Movie Night:
Pick a movie or two, everyone dress up in theme, have themed snacks & have a fun night in! (check out our latest gnu test kitchen for tasty monster themed treat)
* Treat Treasure Hunt:Â
Be it with clues, or a map or just hidden around the home - instead of going to door to door, send your kids around the house (dressed up of course) to collect a pumpkin-bucket full of treats.Â
* Trick or Treating at Home:
Instead of kids going house-to-house, set up treat stations around the house & have them go door-to-door around the home. Maybe, decorating each door with a different theme.
Â
IN YOUR BUBBLE PARTY /GATHERING
* Small neighbourhood get together
Is your neighbourhood part of the same bubble - have a small block party. Dress up, set up small games & have fun. Keep it outside if possible and follow local guidelines.Â
* Costume ParadeÂ
Let the kids dress up and show off their awesome costumes. Have the kids on your street parade down the block with a candy station at the end. Remember to wear masks and keep 2meter of distance.Â
SAFE TRICK OR TREATING RECOMMENDATIONSÂ
* For Treaters:
Wear a mask. Only go with people from your household/bubble. Stay 2 meters apart. Keep trick-or-treating to your neighbourhood.Â
* For handing out Candy:
Wear a mask. Have a peanut free option (allergies are still important to consider). Set up a table between you and the kids, outdoors if possible, this help maintains distance and place to set up a hand sanitizer station.
PLEASE FOLLOW ALL LOCAL PUBLIC HEALTH ADVICE & RECOMMENDATIONS
